Strike over?

The delightful people at CNBC, who are my new best friends, just published this article http://www.cnbc.com/id/23057002 informing us that the writers’ strike is over. If you’re too lazy to read the whole article, here’s what Michael Eisner(former Disney CEO) said: "A deal has been made, and they'll be back to work very soon," and then added, "I know a deal's been made. I know it's over.". I’ve been a bit reluctant to post anything lately because I’m trying not to get my hopes up but this is dang good news. Again, these are Eisner’s words, not mine: "It's over," he said. "They made the deal, they shook hands on the deal. It's going on Saturday to the writers in general." As soon as anything official comes along, I’ll open the champagne(well, not really since I don’t like champagne but a can of beer’s been waiting for this for a long time). Here’s the link to the interview with the guy http://www.cnbc.com/id/23050841/site/14081545/

And let us not forget the best part of this(because at this point I don’t know what shows will come back and when and how even if the strike is over so I can only hope that they’ll release the “Heroes” episodes they’ve been keeping hidden soon): this mean the Oscars will go on, without problems!(could we add the WGA’s indecision and lack of official statement whether or not they’ll boycott the Oscars as another good sign?)

yeah, been reading about the probable end of this strike but since there's nothing really, really official yet(at least not as far as I know)I'm going to try and keep my cool for now.But in any case I think this means it will be over this month.
As far as I know the probability for Heroes to get new episodes is slim to none (and what secret eppy's are u talking about?).
The good news is that House will probably go back into production and get a few more episodes done.
We need to drink heavily to celebrate the ending of the strike :D.

OMG,let me show my happiness : Egypt is in the finals of the African Cup of Nations and will play Sunday in the early evening with Cameroon.

Yay for Egypt winning and good luck to them in the finals. I'll probably be watching.
I was talking about the fact that they filmed a few episodes of the new season before the strike. I'm sure I read this somewhere and if I weren't lazy I'd search for a link to the article. But I know they're keeping them 'til fall because they hate me(paranoid much?)
