'S Wonderful, 'S Marvelous

I’ve learned anew thing today. Apparently the fact that I can never find a waiter that isn’t a complete imbecile is my fault. Let me explain. Three days ago, a friend comes and praises the waiters in a certain restaurant. Today(after a morning of fun shopping, but I’ll get to that in a minute) I was hungry and in the area so I stop there with mom to grab something to eat. We sit down. And wait. And wait. And wait. Waiter finally comes. We ask for menus. No drink orders. He turns around, ready to leave, and I have to flag him down to beg for something to drink(dehydration is not my friend). Waiter comes back with drinks. Waiter disappears into the darkness. We wait. We wait. We wait. Still no waiter in sight with our menus. I get up, go inside, track him down, ask again for menus. His reply? “Oh, I thought that was it.” Why, yes, I asked for menus because I simply couldn’t pick a soda without looking at one. Finally I get one menu(because mom is my imaginary friend and only I can see her) and decide what to eat. And wait. And then wait. And when we’re done waiting, we wait some more. It took him 20 minutes to come back to our table. Now keep in mind that there were 4 waiters and only 6 or 7 tables occupied(2 in his section). Finally he arrives, we give our orders which arrive surprisingly soon. Is it just me or it’s twisted to wait 20 minutes to order and 5 for food? So I’ve come to the conclusion that I’m simply to ravishing and they love having me there and that’s why I can never get decent service. I swear, next time I am going to…gah!

Now to the fun shopping part. I normally hate shopping. I am not genetically set up for it. But today I had fun shopping because, well, I went shopping for a new phone. Now I had no plans of coming back with a phone when I left this morning but, hey, life’s unpredictable. So, I have a new phone! And it’s pretty, and it has a touch screen and a 5MP camera and I love it! Isn’t it pretty? I love electronic, shiny, new things!
