The big one

It’s been exactly a month since I submitted my application and a week since I got my first university reply and I am pleased to say that I have made a decision. I’m going to Leicester, I’m going to Leicester! *does the happiest dance of them all* I got their acceptance letter today and, after careful consideration which lasted about 2 and a half seconds, I said yes and here we are. *does another happy dance* And to further confirm my weirdness and love of statistics in the last 2 hours I have memorized(unwillingly but who knows when it will come in handy) the population of Leicester( city and city + suburbs), the size of the library and oh so many other details. Reminded me of the time I went at my first university admission exam and while I was going down in the elevator I started rattling to a girl the number of students who had applied the previous year, how many got in and the last grades. Yes, I am weird. The look on her face confirmed it. And now please allow me a shallow moment while I gloat in the joy of knowing that I got in at 4 out of the 5 universities I applied to(I didn’t wait for a reply from the fifth). They like me, they really like me! Apparently I’m channeling Sally Field. Now I shall go continue my happy dance and Gilmore retrospective(I’m on season 7 and I’ve got to say, I’m coming with some interesting conclusions).
