Things I learned today

Putting as many marshmallows as possible in a cup of hot chocolate, while it may sound like a good idea, is disgusting. Really, really disgusting.

Spilling said hot chocolate on your hands burns.

Burns hurt. I knew this already but apparently a refresher course was needed.

Everything is better when there is ice cream.

Saying “Tonight I really am going to bed early” is tempting fate.

There is no going to bed early for university students.

No matter how far away you are people will still call you to complain that their computers don't work.

Plane tickets are bloody expensive.

Lab reports do not write themselves up, no matter how much you wish they did.

Oh, yeah, lab reports suck.

Dr. Martens are the greatest, most awesome, most amazing, most anything shoes ever.

If you hug your shoes people will think you're weird.

Weird is apparently the synonym for cool at uni.

Too many toffee apples are bad for you.

So is chasing people with said toffee apples.

And being chased with toffee apples.

Toffee stains will never get out of clothes.

But that's ok because Primark rules.

Sleep is overrated.

Monty Python and the Holy Grail is the greatest kitchen film night ever.

Uni rules.
