And I'm a movieholic. *crowd mumbles “Hello, Addie!”*
I swear I don't mean to. I'm trying to be good. But how can I when they have a huge sale at HMV and I had a student discount? I finally understand the magic of sales. Especially when on sale is the “Jack Nicholson collection: the early years”. Which includes “The wild ride”!!! Not excited? Weirdos....
Of course, I think my flatmates think I'm the weirdo. I keep bringing home bags from HMV and being my usual self...yeah, that doesn't work that well. Apparently it's not normal to buy 10 tiny boxes of chocolate stuff(6 of chocolate mousse and 4 of chocolate pudding). They claim to be chocolate lovers but they do not understand...The love for chocolate...it burns. That and the fact that the chocolate pudding is 4 for 46p at ASDA. How can I say no to that? Especially after I've spent 100£ on books...Damned school, it's taking away all my money. They also think it's shocking that someone can live of peanut butter and frozen meals. So I tried to prove them wrong and today I bought noodles. You know, just add hot water stuff. Even I can cook that. Oh, and toast. I also cook toast. A lot of toast. Well, I'm just ready to be married, aren't I? With such great cooking skills...*
Ah, also I went to my first Viking society meeting on Thursday. They're really nice and they quote Monty Python like crazy. I think I'm gonna fit right in. Tomorrow I have my first training session and, if all goes well next week, I might actually get to be in a battle next weekend! How exciting is that? I'll try not to have my eyes poked out(you don't want to know...trust me). I'll see if they let me try on the gear tomorrow and if they do, maybe have someone snap a picture so I can post it(yes, I know I keep saying that I'm going to post pictures but seriously, I have no clue where all my time goes. It's odd. Contact Agent Mulder.)
On Monday I have my first chemistry lab which should be exciting. I won't get to play with any chemicals just yet so don't worry. However, starting week 3(so the 13th I think), if you see a cloud of smoke over Leicester or you hear on the news about an explosion...I'm sorry. I didn't mean to.
Over and out.
*the room mates refers to, in this paragraph, to the really nice Latvian girl, who really likes healthy food(as in she's been here a week and already knows where to buy vegetables and fruit cheap) and the Cypriot girl, who doesn't quite get my love of chocolate. The English girl is still gone 20 hours a day and apparently a noodles fan as well because I think the other two would rather die then eat that stuff. They're quite good actually.
