0.01

Looking back, what minor event in you life made a major outcome on how things turned out?

Blog roll post

6 years ago I walked to my school one morning to get my results for a really big exam. Now don’t go asking for details because I can’t really remember that day, just what followed. The grade for that exam combined with my grades from school would determine what high school I was going to go to. So, I got the grade and then I applied to the high school I really, really, really but really wanted to go to. And then results day came…The last grade was 8.84. I had 8.83*. So I had failed by exactly 0.01 points. Depressing, right? Ah, but now comes the twist that leads to the happy ending(hopefully, that ending is still far away). I loved the high school I ended going at. I loved even more then I would have loved the first one. I made a wonderful friend there, met my first big real crush there, spent so much time in the coffee shop across the street I probably paid for the remodeling they did the summer after I finished high school and generally had a ton of fun there. So yeah, that’s how 0.01 points can change things.

*Fun fact: This is also the grade I got at the end of high school exam. Apparently it’s chasing me around :D

As usual, look to the right to see other people writing on this topic. Oh, and sorry this is short but I’m tired and my brain is goo.

Well, now if you were a good girl and talked to me on ym so I can apologize I'd tell you if you are that friend or not(confusing enough? :P).
