I said on Monday that I was going to start booking stuff for England. Guess what…I didn’t. But I have a really good explanation: I said I was going to start when I have just 3 months left and since I’ve decided that I’m no longer leaving on the 23rd and instead on the 25th…well there you go. Ok, so tonight I got an unusual shot of energy and so I wanted to book things. Mainly my plane ticket. Guess what? I cannot buy one because I do not have a credit card. I do however, have a debit card, which has money on it but I can’t use that because…? Nope, I can’t think of a reason. People, charge me now, I don’t mind just let me buy my damned ticket, will you? Let’s rationalize this for a second…if I had a credit card, I could buy one, even if you technically don’t have actual money in that account and you may have an overdraft of hundreds of dollars but if you have a debit card, with money on it, you can’t. Argh! Who the fuck thought of that? I swear, I’ll tick boxes, you can take my money now, I have no problem with that but could you pretty please let me buy my ticket? Let me further rant on their stupidity. British Airways lets people who leave from the UK buy tickets online use debit cards, but no one coming from the outside. Ok, I can deal. But then why doesn’t our national airline do the same? So now, I must spend quite a lot of time this week(because last time I postponed the price of tickets went up)tracking down a travel agency and buying a ticket from them(and I have never had a pleasant experience with a travel agency in my town). Joy of joys. Did I mention that temperatures around here are well in the 90s so walking is going to be a pure pleasure…
So why in the name of all things holy can’t they let me buy my ticket???
It's a conspiracy, I tell you! They're out to get me :D !
